Week Beginning 26th June

This week we have enjoyed linking lots of activities to our story of Hansel and Gretel which began with our letter sound of the week. We made trails through the forest, decided which characters we would like to be and decorated ginger biscuits to make a house of sweets. We added nine sweets to our biscuits and they were great fun to make. 

Our resident fairy, who we have decided is a snow fairy, left us all the sweets to make the house of sweets. She is very kind!

Next week:

Letter of the week is 'b'. Please look for things that begin with this letter sound. Can the children think of songs and stories which begin with this letter? Our Fairy Story will be Goldilocks and The Three Bears to link with 'b'.

Number of the week: 3. Can the children think of any songs which have this number in?

Colour of the week: Yellow. Please bring an onject into Nursery for our colour table.
