This week we have been practising for Sports Day as part of Sports Week. The children have been super at learning the different races. We read the story of Little Red Riding Hood and have added our Little Red Riding Hood resources to the fairytale area. We made made scary wolf masks and acted out the story together. We have been doing lots of counting and matching to numerals and enjoyed making rectangle robots and talking about rectangles.
We talked about special occasions such as weddings, baptism, birthdays etc and made flowers that are often given for special occasions.
We have added a rockpool to our outside area to link with our letter sound of the week and the children have enjoyed making seashell cookies in the playdough.
