This week we have been learning about the colours of the rainbow. We made rainbow flowers and rainbow underpants! We also found out some facts about the Milky Way and decided to make Milky Way shakes with fresh fruit and milk. We made rockets from large tubes and flew them around Nursery. Our letter of the week was the letter 'a'. We enjoyed sorting objects that began with 'a' and 's' outside on the giant letters.
We tried to start a rainbow flower experiment with roses and different coloured water but it did not work very well so we will try again next week, using daffodils.
Our Bible story was about the walls of Jericho and we loved acting out the story. Watch our video!
Next week we will be going from the interests of the children and therefore will be learning about crabs and diggers. We will also try and make some goal posts to play football either inside or outside. The children have chosen to make cookies on Tuesday and I am sure they will be very popular!
Our letter of the week is the letter 't'. Our number of the week is the number 8 and our colour of the week is orange.
