We have had a wonderful year in Nursery and we have enjoyed lots of adventures together. It has been a pleasure to share the experiences with the children and watch them on their learning journey. The children have worked really hard and made lots of progress as a result. We wish all of our older children who are moving into Reception good luck and we look forward to seeing our younger children and new starters in September. The Nursery team would like to say a big thank you for our gifts and we wish you a safe and pleasant Summer.
Thank You

Making edible sailing boats - we scooped, spread, filled... our cucumbers and added a sail. They tasted FANTASTIC!
End of Term
At the beginning of our last week, before we break for holidays we are focusing on co-operation and working together. The children will be encouraged to share, take turns, work collaboratively with their peers. This is a skill we promote all the time in nursery and it was SUPER to see it happening all over the nursery today. Well done
Phew! What a busy week!
The children having been talking about special times at home and within Nursery. This week we talked about having a party to celebrate special times. We had a party to celebrate the end of our year in Nursery. We had party games, dancing and party food. We enjoyed eating sandwiches with home made jam, crisps, cakes and popcorn....... delicious!
Continuing with our interest in butterflies we have been talking about symmetry and symmetrical patterns. We have been painting symmetrical butterflies and we also hunted for ladybirds in the outdoor area which had symmetrical patterns on their hard wings.
We also linked our shape, space and measure activity to the world cup as lots of people were interested in this. We ordered Russian dolls, England flags and footballs and we all agree that England tried very hard and should be proud of themselves.
The children have been talking about going on holiday and how they will get there .... on a boat, aeroplane, coach etc. This week we are exploring all vehicles that you might travel in on the water. We also talked about floating and sinking. MORNING CHILDREN
