Welcome back after the Easter break. This week we have welcomed our new starters into Nursery. The older children have been very helpful, showing the new starters how to access the different areas.

Going from the interests of the children, our pirate theme will develop across the half term and will include activities linked to materials. This week the children have thought about questions they would like to find the answers to, linked to pirates. They have also discussed items needed for a pirate ship.

This week we have also started to look at friendship and what a good friend is. This links well with our new starters and we will continue exploring the qualities of a good friend. We have linked our new digital camera to this theme and this week children took photographs of friends being helpful and kind to each other.

Thank you to everyone who returned their Easter sheet to Nursery. The children will continue to have an opportunity to discuss their sheet next week.

Ms Cameron has kindly donated a new piece of outdoor equipment which has proved very popular and our outdoor vet surgery has been very busy!

NOTICES:

Starting Wednesday 3rd May Nursery children will be taking part in Yoga sessions for four weeks.

(Afternoon children need to attend with a grown up as these sessions take place in the morning. Could afternoon parents please return the Yoga slip to Nursery on Tuesday)

Morning Nursery were not given a letter to return as this is part of their morning session.
