Morpeth All Saints Church of England Aided First School

Fire Drill / Invacuation Drill

We have termly fire drill practices to familiarize
children with safe escape routines and
assembly points in the event of fire.

We will be holding invacuation (lock down drills) too.

If you arrive at school to collect a child and the fire alarm is sounding, children will be leaving the building in an orderly fashion.

Please DO NOT enter the building or approach the children or members of staff as we will be checking registers and coordinating the evacuation.

Please assemble at the main entrance gate and a member of staff will inform you when it is safe to come on to school grounds.

Once it is confirmed that the building is safe children will go back to their class and you may collect them as usual.  Could you please advise any relatives etc.,  who may also collect your child of this information.
