Pupil Premium

Morpeth All Saints CE Aided First School uses research evidence from the Education Endowment Foundation Pupil Premium Guide to inform on spending decisions.

The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who:-

  • have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years - FSM_6

  • have adopted from care  (PostLAC) or looked after continuously  (LAC)

  • are children of service personnel - SC-6

It is vital that you check whether your child is entitled to pupil premium money.  This provides an extra income for the school which we are directly accountable for in how it affects the outcomes for your child.  Please contact Mrs. Taylor for confidential advice or apply for FSM (Free School Meals) directly with Northumberland County by clicking on the following link:-

Please note:  a review of expenditure is held at the end of each academic year.
