Happy New Year
Our first week back has been an observation and assessment week. From this we have noticed the children have an interest in pirates. We have seen pirate ships being made and lots of children drawing maps. This will be our focus over the next few weeks. If you have any pirate costumes or story books that we could borrow we would really appreciate it.
This week we have given all children some words or sounds to practise at home every night. You can make lots of games using these words/sounds. The following links are really useful too:
Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth. The school first opened in 1972 and was formerly known as Wansbeck St Aidan Church of England Aided First School until it was renamed in 2001.Read More of the school welcome page
