Hello again everyone.
It has been great to hear from so many of you last week. I really enjoyed reading the letters that have been sent back and I know that you have all been working hard. I am very proud of how you are all taking this 'home learning' in your stride and don't tell anyone, but I am quite missing you all.
I am really looking forward to seeing what you get up to this week and have my fingers crossed that we will be able to get see each other soon
Until then, chin up and lets crack on! This is my new favourite new phrase!
I have made some changes to our text this week.
It was brought to my attention that the topic of the story perhaps should be done in school so we can talk about, and discuss the topic, at length together. I totally agree with this so have removed the text from the planning so it will not appear again.
The story is based on a true story about Henry 'Box' Brown and I will be very excited to cover the story together with you when (fingers crossed!) we return to school. Until then you can find the story on Youtube so that you can find out how it ends.
We will focus on SPAG lessons for the next two weeks instead! Just as exciting, I am sure you will agree.
Keep up the hard work everyone.
I have to be honest, today is one of my favourite days of the year.
IT'S NUMERACY DAY!!!
There is a whole day of Maths planned for you here and by the end of it I want you all to say what I have on the badge I will be wearing tomorrow.
Here it is below...
Welcome to Thursday!
I hope you all had fun with the Maths activities yesterday and perhaps came up with your own. Would anyone agree with my badge now?
