For science, this week if you could possibly have some seeds ready to look at that would be great. For example, grapes with pips, or orange pips, avocado cut in half, pumpkin seeds or apple pips.
If this is not possible, then you could google images of them!
For those children who have completed phase 5a, I have added phase 5b and 5c.
For everyone, you can find the sentences and interactive games set out in the planning if you go onto the Phonics Play website. Click on teachers and you will be given the option for interactive resources, planning, subject knowledge and printable resources.
For spellings, you could use words you have been learning during your phonics lessons and you could add a few high frequency words from the list in the back of your reading record.
Some of you have been emailing your work to me, which I have loved looking at and seeing how hard you are working. I'm looking forward to seeing lots more too.
Don't forget to do a little bit of reading each day and make sure you get outside to see all the signs of Spring coming. You could send me photos of your Spring findings. I'm sure you will have more findings than me as I live in a cold and windy spot.
Keep working hard. Miss you lots.
