Spring 2 2022
SPRING 2: WEEK 6: Today we made our own bird hides and watched the birds around our school grounds. The children made their own bird feeders to take home for their own gardens.
SPRING 2: WEEK 5: WHAT HAVE WE BEEN DOING IN OUTSIDE LEARNING TODAY?
Building shelters - Mrs Roberts had some fantastic helpers, moving the large Scots Pine branches.
Finding mini beast. We found earwigs, beetles, worms, spiders, woodlice, millipedes ...
Choosing our own activities ...
SPRING 2: Week 4: Hunting for frogs in the school pond and in the wider school grounds. Unfortunately we didn't find any real ones but Mrs Roberts had hidden some pretend ones. We used them to extend our rhyming work about the frogs on the logs!
Spring 2: Week 3: making our own pictures out of different shapes. Today we thought of an idea and then tried to make it with the shapes in our shape box.
SPRING 2 2022: Outside Learning: Week 2: Today we investigated our icy bird feeders, planted saplings, cut and moved willow whips and went on a mini beast hunt.
SPRING 2 2022: Week 1: OUTSIDE LEARNING: Today we have been sorting objects we found at the beach. We had shells, stones, seaweed, sea glass, pottery ...The children made their own sculptures using the objects they had found.
