In these unprecedented times, it is likely that there will be a time when your child needs to self isolate. These pages are here to help you find the resources and advice you need to make that time successful and to ensure your children continue to receive a quality education and develop their love of learning.
If my child's whole bubble is isolating...
In the event of a whole bubble needing to isolate, home learning will be available via our Home Learning pages and will follow the same learning sequence as they would have had in school. Daily work will be uploaded onto these pages, but in addition, we have made some adaptations to our provision in response to parental feedback, to make the experience more interactive for parents and children. 2 daily option Google Meets will accompany the setting of work. A morning meeting will allow teachers to share a story with the children and share any top tips for their work for the day. An afternoon meeting will give an opportunity to help with any issues, go through some answers together and celebrate children's work. This has already proved popular with parents and children who have experienced it and we hop you find it helpful in the event of your child's class needing to isolate as a bubble.
If my child is isolating but the rest of their bubble is not...
If you have been advised to isolate because of exposure to someone with COVID or while awaiting the results of a test, we have created packs to support your child's learning at home. These packs have a range of activities that focus on important core skills for their year group as well as different curriculum activities so they can continue to enjoy their learning. These packs can be emailed to you or a printed copy can be requested from the school office.
In addition to these packs, the following pages offer a range of online resources to support your child's learning and wellbeing. There is a wealth of learning resources online and you can choose those you find most helpful for you as a family.
