Year 3/4 Kwik Cricket
On Tuesday 5.7.16 30 of Year 3 and 4 headed to Longhirst Cricket Club for a cricket festival. It was great fun playing against teams from other schools in Morpeth. Team 3 came 3rd overall and great sportsmanship and teamwork were shown by all. Well done guys and girls!

Team A beat the other teams in Northumberland, we then played Ponteland and won too! Now WE'RE GOING TO THE SAINSBURY'S SCHOOL GAMES!

A great turnout today at the Children's Cancer Run! Well done to everyone who came and joined in and ran for Morpeth All Saints. Thank you very much for your support!

Our Sports Council and Playground Buddies have been running lots of intra sport competitions this week throughout the whole school. They designed and created the games themselves and then ran the competitions -we were all very impressed!
Damien also came in this week to train the year 3 pupils in sports leadership - it was a fantastic afternoon, thank you!

We had a fantastic day of tag rugby competitions against other schools at Chantry Middle School. All three teams did really well, one team even got through to the finals in Ponteland!
Then in the same week Orange and Red again Class participated in the Quad Kids competition at KEVI against other schools, we are eagerly awaiting the results!

KS2 Questionnaires - Autumn 2 (2016) Tennis
95% of our KS2 pupils enjoyed their tennis workshops.
86% of our pupils now feel more confident, following their training from Mr Dimmick.
100% of KS2 say they know how to behave safely in PE.
Favourite parts include:
'Playing proper matches'
'Our warm ups'
'Playing with my partner'
'I didn't like tennis before but I like it now.'

December 2015 - Pupil Voice Questionnaires (Gymnastics)
The questionnaires are in and this has to be the easiest set yet. All KS2 pupils completed a questionnaire and the results are as follows:
100% of Year 3 and 4 enjoyed the gymnastics with Mr.Dimmick.
100% said they felt more confident in gymnastics now, and
guess what... 100% of our KS2 pupils now feel they know how to and can be behave safely in PE.
There were also lots of best bits: forward rolls, cartwheels, long sits, forward rolls, balancing and linking movements.
A fantastic half term of gymnastics!
Year 3 in training for the gymnastics competition against other schools in Northumberland (December 2015). We then competed against Year 4 using the intra sports guidance from the Sainsbury's School Games!
A great taster session for MAS! Just one example of the sporting clubs we are linked to in Morpeth.

We entered the 6 v 6 Y4 Mixed Level 2 Football Competition (squads of 8).
The results were: Team A came 3rd and Team B came 4th, well done Year 4. Another example of the inter sports competitions we are entering as part of the Northumberland Partnership and Sainsbury's School Games.
Pupil Voice Questionnaires (KS1/ October 2015)
Year 1 and 2 have just finished their Multi Skills sessions with Damien. The results are in from the pupil voice questionnaires and the results are really positive!
1) Have you enjoyed PE with Damien?
100% of KS1 have enjoyed their sessions this half term.
2) Do you feel more confident now you have had the training?
93% of KS1 feel more confident now.
3) Do you know how to behave safely in PE?
Finally, 90 % of our children feel they know how to behave safely in PE.
Pupils also identified the parts of the training they have particularly enjoyed which included: playing French Poodle, running, playing the Touching the Tree game and Cats and Mice.
