World Book Week March 2016
We've had a fantastic week! Every afternoon pupils from Reception to Year 4 have been able to work throughout the school and join in with lots of exciting activities. As part of World Book Week we have also supported Oxfam, and have taken the opportunity to explore issues that enable our pupils to develop the core competencies which allow them to actively engage with the world, and discuss key issues such as climate change and poverty. Throughout the week parents also volunteered to read their favourite stories and on Friday we all dressed up as our favourite story book characters. Well done Morpeth All Saints, another successful week packed full of love, laughter and learning!
Books pupils will have explored during the week include:
The Scarecrow Wedding,
Five Little Fiends,
The Dinosaur that Pooped the Past,
and Aliens Love Underpants.
