This week we have talked about Winter festivals and celebrations. Following the children's interests, we have talked about Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night. We also had a 'colour day' where children came in dressed in their favourite colour and did some firework dancing. We hope you liked the video!
Next week we will be carrying on our work on Bonfire Night and thinking about Remembrance Day. If your child goes to see any fireworks this weekend, please add a photograph to tapestry.
Your child can also bring a photograph of someone they want to remember, we will share this with them during 'Talk-Time'
Literacy target - talk about the sounds and colours that you see and hear on firework night.
Numeracy target - count how many different fireworks you can see.
Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth. The school first opened in 1972 and was formerly known as Wansbeck St Aidan Church of England Aided First School until it was renamed in 2001.Read More of the school welcome page
