This week we have joined in with lots of activities and tried some new sports.
On Monday we brought our bikes and scooters to school. We enjoyed racing around the track, carefully negotiating spaces so we didn't crash.
On Tuesday, Mr Jobling came to do some golf with us. Trying to hit the target with the golf ball was tricky but we gave it our best shot!
On Wednesday we had a go at playing basketball. We practised dribbling the ball whilst playing some competitive games before having a go at getting it into a net.
Next week we will be practising our sports day races. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a sunny day on Thursday 29th June. We hope to see you all on the field at 9.15am to cheer us on.
Please can all children come to school in active wear and suitable shoes. The children will also need a water bottle.
Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth. The school first opened in 1972 and was formerly known as Wansbeck St Aidan Church of England Aided First School until it was renamed in 2001.Read More of the school welcome page
