Send a Cow

At Morpeth All Saints we have been working closely with 'Send a Cow Education' which enables teachers to bring the real world into their classroom, to embed global learning throughout the curriculum and help our pupils to understand how we can make a positive difference, locally and globally. In the summer, we had a 'Big Picnic' and invited the local community to attend. It was a great success and we raised enough money to buy a cow and chickens for a family in Africa.

We are also continuing our fundraising efforts throughout Harvest, and plan to build Keyhole Gardens on school grounds, enabling pupils to understand the importance of these in Africa. All the pupils and staff at Morpeth All Saints would like to say a big thank you to Rachel Lyons and Alan Mckenzie the representatives from Send a Cow that have been working with us.
