PTA
All Saints has a flourishing group of parents who raise funds for expensive equipment and school visits. The group has been extremely successful over the years and we would greatly welcome your support at events and at committee level. The group is affiliated to the National Body of Parent Teachers Association.
The PTA is a voluntary organisation run by an elected committee. Our aim is to organise social events for children, parents and friends of the school in order to raise funds, which in turn, are used by the school to buy resources, luxuries and treats that the school budget will not stretch to. In this way, we feel we help bring the school together as a community and promote a friendly, caring attitude to school life. Everyone who has a child at the school is automatically a member of the PTA and, as such, is welcome to attend any meetings and events held on behalf of the school.
In recent years the PTA has provided the school with playground equipment, toys and games for the children to use during wet playtimes, gym equipment, innumerable resources for all classrooms, pantomimes, waterproof suits and even a washing machine to keep it all clean!!
As children and parents inevitably come and go within the school, new members, willing to do as much or as little as they are able to, are actively encouraged to attend meetings, share ideas and suggestions and very often just to have a chat and a laugh.
