The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) came into force on 25 May 2018 in order to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union. It has replaced the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that all data held within our school is processed, stored and safeguarded in accordance with this new legislation. Any data breach received by the school, under the new Regulations, which is likely to cause personal damage e.g., identity theft, will be reported to the ICO (Information Commissoner's Office) within 72 hours from notification.

Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth.
