This week we have had lots to keep us busy. On Tuesday we talked about why Christians have Shrove Tuesday before tasting some yummy pancakes. We then had a go at flipping some pancakes and joined in with a pancake race.
On Wednesday, Tritlington First School joined us for World Maths Day. We problem solved with Miss Fife, solving the clues in the crime sceen to find the thief and get our sweeties back. With Miss Kennedy we read a story about days of the week and growing beanstalks before planting our own seeds. Outdoors we made different shapes using sticks, building on our team working skills.
Thursday was World Book Day where we came to school, dressed as our favourite characters. We joined in with a special parade so we could see what everybody else was wearing. In the afternoon we looked at the book "The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet!" The children loved this story and it prompted lots of writing and discussions about space!
