Beep Beep Day - Saving Tiny Lives
All children in Early Years joined in with Beep Beep Day. The children brought their bikes/scooters to school and practised maneuvering around a track, negotiating spaces and speeds to avoid bumping into their friends. We talked about road safety, and the green cross code before role playing crossing the road safely.
Indoors we talked more about road safety before making our own posters, pictures and paintings. We made traffic light biscuits, thinking about the colours we would need.
Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth. The school first opened in 1972 and was formerly known as Wansbeck St Aidan Church of England Aided First School until it was renamed in 2001.Read More of the school welcome page
