SPORTS FUNDING 2015/2016
PE Funding for 2015/ 2016 is £8,595.
As of 29/02/16 we have received £8,598.
We plan to pay NCC £8,000 for this academic year (named contact: Franki Clark). This payment includes specialist sports delivery in school, festivals and inter-school competitions.
Our Plans for the Sports Funding (2015 – 2016)
Due to the success of the festivals and inter sport competitions over the last two years, this year, we have also used our Sports Funding to buy into the whole partnership offer. This means we now have access to the festivals, competitions, training for practitioners and in addition to all of these exciting opportunities we also have a morning of specialist PE interventions (please see the timetable for the year and plans for each Key Stage).
During the last academic year we achieved the Silver Award for the Sainsbury’s Games. This year we would like to go for GOLD! So, our plans are:
To carry on using our pupil voice questionnaires, following an intervention.
To expand our Sports Committee to include more members.
To develop the role of the Sports Committee, to run more intra-sports, and another School Games event.
To continue to run our lunch time clubs which are based on Change 4 Life.
To continue to promote our achievements in our newsletters and the local paper.
To work with Franki Clark to provide more opportunities to incorporate ‘Our Highest Attainers/ More Able’ in specialist sporting events.
To continue to develop links with local sporting clubs.
At Morpeth All Saints: We are fit for the challenge!
Our school is situated in attractive and extensive well maintained grounds in a small housing estate, Lancaster Park, which is north of the town of Morpeth. The school first opened in 1972 and was formerly known as Wansbeck St Aidan Church of England Aided First School until it was renamed in 2001.Read More of the school welcome page
